We have an exciting Retreat...

 planned this winter filled with fun activities, crazy games, new friendships, heart-filled worship, and passionate messages that are relevant for following God in our current culture. We commit to providing programming and activities that cover a wide range of interests making sure that whatever you're into, we have you covered. 

The purpose of our winter retreat is to create an environment in which teens can connect with God while celebrating in His goodness through fun programming and new friendships. We want to make sure that wherever a teen is in their spiritual journey, they will be able to relate to the message and take it home with them. We don't just want to make an amazing weekend, but our priority is to allow the Spirit to move as He wills which will initiate live change that affects how we live our daily lives.

We want to make sure that you have the freedom to choose what you want to do. In the schedule, when it says open rooms, that means that there will a bunch of different rooms that are specially designated for different kinds of activities that you have the freedom to pick between. Below is a list of rooms that will be open throughout the Winter Retreat.

Chuck Beckler is the founder of True Direction Ministries and is passionate about seeing the gospel of Jesus Christ turn our world upside down. Chuck is a seasoned communicator and has been speaking to men, women, and students for more than 30 years. 

Neither a lecturer nor an entertainer, Chuck communicates with sincerity to the hearts of people, not just to the heart of their problems. In addition to his ministry as a speaker and trainer, Chuck served as a youth pastor and most recently as the Senior Pastor of Valley Community Church in the suburbs of Chicago. He has maintained his credentials with the Evangelical Free Church of America since the mid-1980s. Chuck and his wife, Linda, currently reside in McHenry, IL.

The cost of Michindoh's Winter Retreat is $110 due with the registration form. 

$5 discount if registered before January 1st.

 $5  discount for you and your friend if you register with a friend who has never attended Michindoh. 


Would you like to join with your youth in a retreat that is fully organized, where all you need to do is invest in their lives and participate in the fun? That is what this retreat has to offer. We will have all the work done for you - great activities, a powerful praise team, and retreat speakers that will entertain and challenge your youth in their walk with the Lord. Bring six youth and you attend free (1 free youth leader for every 6 paid youth). You can stay right in the cabin with your youth. If you do not have enough cabin leaders, we have counseling staff to supervise your cabin group. 

Youth Leaders:

Meals will be covered from Friday night until Sunday lunch. Meals at Michindoh are served buffet style with a wide variety of nurtures food choices for each meal to choose from.
